He spent most of the last two seasons with Kalamazoo (IHL) and last year finished second in scoring among Wings defensemen, drafted in the fifth round by Minnesota in 1989, MacLeod played his junior hockey for Kamloops (WHL). He scored his first NHL goal in his first game with the Sharks.
