Although Bob boasts one of the hardest shots in the N.H.L., he isn't a big scorer. In fact, he didn't score a Goal in 55 games in the 1952-53 season, but is always on the ice when the Bruins are in a tight spot because of his defensive play. Bob joined the Bruins for 2 games in 1951 and spent the 1951-52 season with Hershey, where he had 6 Goals.

Fiery Phil is starting his first year as coach of the Bruins. Had stormy, colorful career with Rangers - first as a star forward, later as the coach, putting New Yorkers in playoffs his first three years of bench direction. Last year Phil was subdued leader of Providence club of the AHL.

Starting his 3rd full season with Montreal, Claude combines speed with stick-handling finesse. While not a big goal-scorer, Claude is perhaps most effective in keeping the opposition off the scoreboard. A solid two-way Hockey player.
