When Real fractured his leg in November, 1953 and was out for the season, it was feared he would never play hockey again. But, he's back this season, taking up where he left off. His 1st full season with Boston (1952-53) was a fine one, as he scored 19 Goals and 14 Assists. At Hershey in 1951-52, he had 20 Goals in 34 games and was brought up to Boston to play in 33 games.
"Punch" is the only coach without NHL playing experience, also doubles as general manager. He led Leafs to 3 straight Stanley Cup titles. Earlier, he led Quebec Aces in years when Jean Beliveau was star amateur.
LeClair concluded his college career at the University of Vermont by being named to the 1991 ECAC Second All-Star Team. LeClair, who turned pro with Montreal at the end of 1990-91, appeared in both the Stanley Cup and AHL playoffs the following season.
