Walt is the only big league player born in Germany. He's a tough, two-way player who seldom gets knocked off his feet. Walt has been the Rangers' top scorer the last two years. He needed very little minor league seasoning before jumping to New York. His last name is pronounced "Ka-Chook."
Fans in New York cried "Hail, Caesar" during brief playing career with the Rangers. Was MVP in Central League with Minneapolis in 1964-65. Played in Stanley Cup playoffs with Toronto at just 22 years-of-age. Also played for Montreal Canadiens. Big for a goalie: 6-3, 185.
