It says great things about "Jiggy" that the young goalie, while backstopping a team captained by world-class superstar Paul Kariya, was widely considered Anaheim's 2001-02 MVP. During one torrid stretch in late January and early February, he put together a six-game winning streak in which he allowed just nine goals and shut out the high-octane St. Louis Blues, 1-0, with a 15-save effort. Giguere is clearly the rock of Anaheim's future in goal.

Al ("Don't call me Junior") broke into NHL with the Canadiens, was traded to the Rangers in June of '61, and then, in mid-season of 1963-64, to the Red Wings. A good skater for a big man, Al teamed up in Montreal and New York with Doug Harvey. Sparked Wings into playoffs.

Starting his 11th season with Canadiens, Kenny hopes to continue the sparkling play which earned him the centre slot of the 1st All-Star team last year. A 22-goal-man, he is also a top-notch defensive player and has been used many times in penalty-killing roles. During the summer he works building boxcars, swinging a sledge hammer all day to keep in top physical shape.
