One of the NFL's outstanding rookies of 1970, Duane capped a superb season with a fine 1971 Super Bowl performance against the Colts. He led the Cowboys in kickoff returns with 19 for 416-yards and a 21.9 average (his longest going for 33-yards), in rushing (with a 47-yard touchdown run to his credit) and he also caught ten passes for 73-yards. his longest was a 17-yard gainer. Duane has great hands, he's a good blocker and he's got great size and speed. A good hurdle and sprint man in high school, he averaged 6.0-yards per carry with 2378-yards in 396 attempts in three seasons at West Texas State with 595-yards in five games as a sophomore, 708-yards as a junior and 1072-yards in his senior year. He got his opportunity with Dallas when Calvin Hill was sidelined by an injury, and was a starter rest of year.
The Steelers got Darrell from Washington at the start of the '58 season. N.Y. traded for him in '59. He plans on teaching when his pro days are over.
A healthy Jackson was ready to go in 2013, and it showed. The Philadelphia wideout earned his third career Pro Bowl nod after racking up a career-best 1,332 receiving yards, which was good for third in the NFC. He also helped turn the Eagles back into a postseason team in the process.
