Durable Buck played every game during his three year college career and continued his iron man tactics when he joined the Eagles. A trade brought him to the Rams in '58.



Has played fullback 8 years for the Packers. All-Pro fullback, 1944, 1945, 1946. Scoring champion in National Football League, 1946, with 100 points. Attended Stevens Point State Teachers College, Stevens Point, Wis. Three years of varsity football, and 3 of varsity basketball. Received master's degree, U. of Wisconsin, June, 1950.



Played tackle for Washington State. Captain in 1948. Named to AP All-Pacific Coast, UP All-Pacific Coast, INS All-American. Starting tackle for West in the 1949 Shrine All-Star game. Went pro with the Redskins in 1949. Won first-string tackle job in first pro year. Works as a salesman during the off-season. Member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Born in Red Lodge, Montana, but played high school football in Clarkston, Washington, the home town of all-time Rose Bowler Turk Edwards. While at Washington State was coached by Phil Sarboe, who was formerly a Redskin. One of the finest tackles in National Football League.
