The fellow who is most responsible for the pro- tection of Charley Conerly is Ray Wietecha. When it comes to prying open the enemy line or tossing downfield blocks, Ray is tops.



Jack gives enemy quarterbacks a fit by flicking off their passes regularly. His six interceptions in 1967 was his peak performance. At Texas A & M, Jack won many academic and athletic honors. He was drafted #2 by the Rams in 1957.
