Dallas, long the scene of some of the most exciting college football welcomed big time pro stars last season. The club, made up of stars drafted from the other National League Football squads were led by the mighty mite, Eddie LeBaron. N.F.L. fans need no introduction to the expert ball handling and accurate passing of Mr. LeBaron. L. G. Dupre, former Colt standout did most of the ball carrying with Don Mcllenny finishing a close second. For a new team, the Cowboys had to iron out the kinks before they could roll in high gear. In the next to last game of the season, they played the Giants. In a ding-dong battle, passes filled the air and when the final gun was sounded, the Giants were stunned to find that the newcomers from the Big State had held them to a 31-31 tie.
