Don is Boston's iron man and now ranks 1st in the NBA in consecutive games played. He hasn't missed a game since 1966-67 and he's played in 343 straight contests. The Celtic record is 459 consecutive games, held by Tom Sanders.
Booker's big reaction to learning he had just become an All-Star for the first time in 2019-20: he took a nap. "I went back to sleep and when I woke up, all my family was over [the house] and we celebrated," he told the Arizona Republic. "We're taking it all in and we're enjoying the experience. ... It's always been a dream of mine."
The former Olympian was voted Player of the Year and All-Star center for the 1960-61 season in a poll of the NBA players themselves.
