The only Golden State player in the 1993 NBA All-Star Game after Chris Mullin withdrew because of an injury, Tim Hardaway represented the team well. Hardaway, who stepped aside in 1992 to allow Magic Johnson to start, tallied 16 points in only 21 minutes and also cleared six rebounds. In the first half of 1992-93, Hardaway was the only player in the NBA besides John Stockton to average more than ten assists per game.
