A giant among giants, Wilt the Stilt is almost impossible to be stopped around the basket. He leaps high and stuffs the ball in with nonchalant grace. He grabs rebounds from heights high above the heads of the other fellows. He dunks field goals with two hands and pulls off rebounds with one. Given any daylight, he will swoop into the goal with one giant stride and roll the ball down his expansive palm just inside the front lip of the goal. His stamina is amazing. A defensive stalwart, he blocks shots repeatedly. Here, enjoying the game, he dunks in a 2-pointer.



"Mr. Everything" in the NBA last season, Lew was the major factor which made the Bucks the World's Champs. As a rookie, his performance lifted the Bucks from the cellar to 2nd place in the Eastern Division. He was a unanimous choice as Rookie of the Year, was named to the Eastern Division All-Star team and was a second team choice All-Pro and All-Defensive. He made the NBA All-Rookie team.
