Led the team in rebounding (13.0 rpg), blocks (3.5 bpg), free throws made (335), free throws attempted (492) and minutes played (3,029) in 1992-93... Set Nuggets' NBA single-season blocked shots record with 287... Scored 16 points, had 21 rebounds and a career-high 12 blocks against the LA Clippers 4/8/93... Named NBA Rookie of the Month twice in 1991-92... Only rookie to play in the 1992 NBA All-Star Game.



This all-around performer can play any position on the court. Rookie of the Year in 1958-59, Elgin had his greatest scoring campaign last season with 2,538 points. On Nov. 15, 1960 he shattered the record output for one game, sinking a fantastic 71 points against the Knickerbockers. He also set a record for most successful free throws in a season, connecting on 676 tries. He was the players' choice on the All-Star team for the third straight time.



Possessed with uncanny quickness and timing, Mike also is an outstanding shooter. Voted to the ABA'S All-Defensive Team in 1972-73, his good instincts and passing ability make him a complete quard. Mike was the Colonels 3rd round draft selection in 1971 and was with Kentucky until traded to the Nets during 1973-74 season.
