In his first season with Knicks, Bud scored 401 points, in spite of fact that he didn't join team until December. He's rated as best basketball player ever developed at Princeton. In 1943 he led Eastern Intercollegiate League in scoring with 170 points in 12 games and was named to All-League first five. His 73 field goals that season were most ever made in that old circuit. While he was in training he played with the Chapel Hill, N. C. Cloudbusters and led team in scoring.



Selected as the NBA's Most Valuable Player last season, Kareem led the league in minutes played with 3379 and in defensive rebounds with 1111. He's been the league MVP 4 times, regular season scoring champion twice and was Rookie of the Year, 1970.



The best all-around player in the history of Eastern Michigan, George set school single-season records with 339 field goals, 208 free throws and 458 rebounds in 1971-72. His biggest basket came on a driving layup at the buzzer to defeat Duquesne at Pittsburgh, 70-69. George scored 40 points or more 5 times in his collegiate career, his game highs were 21 FG's and 17 FT's.
