A high school All-American at the same school that produced Wilt Chamberlain, Walt attended UCLA where he led the Bruins to two national titles. Primarily a shooter, Walt has become one of the NBA's best playmakers and has led the Hawks in assists the past two seasons. Walt is a fine penetrator, a good ballhandler.
Rick was acquired by the Celtics from the Pacers after playing in 43 games at Indiana last season. An outstanding youngster with a fine future in the NBA, he contributed 132 Assists, 48 Steals and 15 Blocked Shots during his rookie campaign.
