In his first season with Knicks, Bud scored 401 points, in spite of fact that he didn't join team until December. He's rated as best basketball player ever developed at Princeton. In 1943 he led Eastern Intercollegiate League in scoring with 170 points in 12 games and was named to All-League first five. His 73 field goals that season were most ever made in that old circuit. While he was in training he played with the Chapel Hill, N. C. Cloudbusters and led team in scoring.
Benoit's 187 blocked shots in 1989-90 led the Clippers, placed him fifth among league leaders, and extended the franchise career record (previously held by Bob McAdoo) for blocked shots that he already held. He concluded his collegiate career at Creighton as the third-leading shot-blocker in NCAA history, then was chosen as the third overall pick in the draft, following Patrick Ewing and Wayman Tisdale. Bicycle riding and music occupy his spare time.
Crowder was ready to go, go, go when he returned to the lineup after missing almost two months in 2023-24. "I just have extra juice," he told The Athletic. "I'm very thankful for that and I just want to continue climbing this ladder and get back to where I need to be." That energy fueled the rest of a great season.
