After getting a whirlwind tour of the NBA during 1985-86 - when he played with a record-setting four different teams - Rod settled in with the Warriors and averaged in double figures in three successive seasons. In 1989-90, he finished second on the team in rebounds, blocked shots, and three-point goals. He is an avid tennis player during the off-season.



Utah's 12th man as a rookie in 1991-92, Austin received extra minutes early in 1992-93 when starting center Mark Eaton was sidelined with an injury. Austin led Arizona State in scoring (16.3 PPG) and rebounding (8.7 RPG) as a senior.



Eric gained maturity in his first two NBA seasons, learning how to control the game's tempo - leading the fast break, playing defense. Extremely talented at getting free, his quick moves position him for the medium to short jump shot.
