Drafted in the second round of the 1995 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 49th overall pick...Twice chosen as the Ivy League Player of the Year and a three-time All-Ivy First Team player.Finished as the fifth leading scorer in school history (1.488 points)..Led Conference in scoring (14.1 ppg) and assists [5.8 apg) as a senior.



Jim is an excellent rebounder and is also deadly with his unique two hand shot, that he pushes off the heels of his hands. Coming to the Royals after a season with the Lakers, Jim expects to repeat his high scoring ways that made him one of the most exciting college hoopsters in 1955.



Lloyd was the NBA's second-leading scorer in 1978-79, he set a career-high with a 49-Point performance during the campaign. Acquired by the Clippers from the 76ers in a trade, 10-12-78, he had previously played for Clippers' Head Coach Gene Shue in Philadelphia. Lloyd had 340 Assists and 111 Steals last season.
