Woody comes to the Warriors by way of the Harlem Globetrotters. After playing two years of college ball at Texas Southern, he joined the fabulous Harlem group and traveled throughout the country and abroad. Woody didn't do much clowning around, but concentrated on solid basketball. As a result, he's an expert all around operator. Fast for a big man, Woody is tough in scrambles under the boards. While on the Trotters, he developed a unique way of blocking enemy shots and N.B.A. scorers are in for trouble.

Smith could have replicated his rookie season to a T during his second campaign and the Rockets would have been perfectly fine. He's not one to slack off, though. He upped the ante in 2023-24 with personal bests in points (13.7), 2- and 3-point shooting percentage (.530 and .363) and rebounds (8.1).

The surprise of the Super Sonics' rookie and training camps last season, Don is fundamentally one of the better guards around. He averaged over 17 points per game at Xavier of New Orleans and led the team with 11 assists and 8 steals per game. Don is regarded as a good shooter, great ball handler and a consistently quick defensive artist. He was a 2nd team All-American his senior year in college.
