Despite missing some games due to a dislocated shoulder, Davis ranked second in the NBA in field goal percentage (.589) at the 1995 All-Star break. He also continued to be Indiana's best board crasher (9.9 rpg, 14th in the NBA) and shotblocker (1.85 bpg, 13th).

Smith could have replicated his rookie season to a T during his second campaign and the Rockets would have been perfectly fine. He's not one to slack off, though. He upped the ante in 2023-24 with personal bests in points (13.7), 2- and 3-point shooting percentage (.530 and .363) and rebounds (8.1).

Known for his savvy and unselfishness, Luke explains, "I guess I learned to play like I do because I had three brothers, two older. I made sure I'd pass the ball to the two older ones so I could get to play some more."
