The ABA's Rookie of the Year for 1970-71, Dan led the ABA in scoring and in scoring average. He was the most highly acclaimed rookie in the history of Kentucky's ABA franchise. A consensus All-American at U. of Kentucky, he earned that distinction by setting 23 school and Southeastern Conference records, becoming the leading scorer in Kentucky history in the process.
B. J. finished his college career as lowa's all-time leader in assists (517) as well as being third all-time in steals (178) and fourth in points (1,705). He also set an lowa record with 11 three-point field goals in one game, and managed to shoot 50% from three-point range in his first year in the pros. He also shot just under 90% from the free-throw line.
Another of the NBA's finest rookies of 1978-79, Terry saw action in each of Pistons' 82 games. He led the club with 201 Blocked Shots during the campaign and added 89 Assists and 104 Steals to his overall performance. Terry is a tremendous leaper who helped propel the University of Detroit to national attention during his tenure. He averaged 15 points-pergame in 110 contests for the Titans.
