The heart of the Bullets, Wes literally turned the team around in his rookie year, lifting the Bullets from last place to first by providing the ignition to the fastbreak. A master of the outlet pass, he won MVP and Rookie of the Year honors in the same season, 1968-69.
A long-range bomber who is a regular in the NBA's annual Three-Point Shootout. Craig made an uncanny 87 out of 181 (48%) three-point attempts during the 1989-90 season. That marksmanship raised his already spectacular three-point field goal percentage and ranked him among the all-time three-point field goal shooters. Craig started at Long Beach State in each of his four years and holds the career assist mark with 437.
