Excellent grades; the experience of traveling Europe with a father (Joe "Jellybean" Bryant) who played 16 years of pro ball; and a scoring average of 30.7 PPG...to name three reasons. Washington's Tim Legler, who played with Bryant in a summer Icugue, offered this: "There were 10-12 NBA players in the gym, and it was difficult to tell the difference."

Possessed with a definite pro body, he establishes the post position well for the pass off screen or bonafide left or right handed hook shot and is deadly from the baseline with his jumper.
