Very agile for a big man, Jim has established himself as being one of the better centers in the NBA. Voted as the Most Valuable Cavalier for 1974-75, his first season with the club, he established a club mark for defensive rebounds in a game with 17 against the Bullets, November 6, 1974.



Signed as a free agent from the CBA 3/27/89 and backed up Muggsy Bogues for the remainder of the season... An assists-minded point guard with the ability to penetrate and create, he also can hit the outside shot... Played on three CBA Championship teams in Tampa Bay and Albany for Coach Bill Musselman... Quarterbacked Wolfpack to 1983 NCAA Championship and is one of six members of that team to play in the NBA.



Over the past four seasons, Red has established himself as one of the ABA's most consistent performers and certainly one of its most under rated. He was the leading rebounder for the New Orleans Buccaneers for three campaigns and ranked 5th, 2nd & 3rd in the ABA those years with averages of 12.2 in 1967-68, 13.5 in 1968-69 and 16.2 in 1969-70.
