Jackson headed to Milwaukee after a draft-day trade, and the club couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. "We think that there's an unbelievable development opportunity with him," GM Jon Horst said. "There's also a baseline level of skill and toughness... that could translate right out of the gate. We'll see."

Bones was picked on BAA's first team two years ago. A great competitor, his value to the team was shown by the fact that when he was side-lined with a lame ankle last season they lost six in a row. Bones is a splendid shot, who controls the ball off both backboards. He's liked by both teammates and opponents, as well as the fans who voted him the most popular of the Capitols two seasons in a row.

John was signed by Nets Coach Carnesecca for his running and shooting ability. He's also a good enough rebounder to hold the Temple U. career record of 1,042. John's 1,544 career points at Temple are 2nd only to Guy Rodgers on the all-time list.
