Murray, an excellent long-range shooter, shot .300 from beyond the three-point line in his rookie year. While leading the nation in scoring as a senior in high school by averaging 44.3 points per game, Murray also set California high school marks for points (1,505) and three-pointers (125) in a season.



On Dec. 16, 2023, Murray recorded 26 points and four rebounds... in one quarter. The forward produced that stat line, a respectable game total for any player, while playing all 12 minutes of the third. He finished the night with 47 points and 12 long-range makes vs. the Jazz.



Al entered Bradley in 1966 and played there 2 seasons as a starter before entering Army. He had averaged 16.7 as sophomore & 17.8 as junior. After fulfilling service obligation he returned to Bradley & led club in scoring with 18.9 mark in 1970-71. He was All-NCAA District Five.
