"HEAVENLY BODY" How acquired: Drafted in the first round in 1983 (14th selection). After eight previous NBA seasons of hearing how Clyde Drexler didn't get a lot of recognition because he played in the Pacific Northwest, the Portland Trail Blazers guard was in the forefront of NBA news in 1991-92. First, Drexler was chosen during the season to play for the 1992 Olympic Team in Barcelona, Spain. And, all season long, his name and the term NBA MVP were linked together. Clyde eventually finished second in the MVP voting behind Michael Jordan, but he still managed to lead Portland to the NBA Finals. Drexler was the NBA's fourth-leading scorer and topped the Blazers in assists, steals and three-point shooting. "Clyde has never asked for attention," said his coach, Rick Adelman. "And that's probably why he hasn't gotten it." It's not as if his game doesn't deserve it. Drexler has never scored less than 17 points per game in a season except for his rookie year. Clyde has paced Portland in scoring for five straight seasons. Portland fans are surely grateful this "Heavenly Body" is all theirs.

Harvey started the most games at center for the 76ers in 1975-76 and led the club in blocked shots with a record 164 to rank 4th in the league in that category. His hot shot blocking streaks have caused 76ers fans to clamor "Harvey, Harvey". He was club's 3rd-best rebounder, 1975-76.

A typical NBA season lasts approximately 170 days and concentrating on basketball over such an extended period of time can be draining. Each player has their own form of escape to help them. This particular time, golf happens to be the avenue that Phoenix Suns center Oliver Miller takos. Relaxing before a game, Miller tries to perfect his golf game by practicing his swing in the locker room, while at the same time taking his mind off the physical game that lies ahead.
