Tom owns one of the biggest pair of hands in the League. His ability to snare the ball makes him a fine rebounder and clever feeder. Using a variety of shots, Tom can score from underneath as well as at long range. After a hitch in the Army, he returned to the Royals in mid-season last year.

One night during Moten's freshman Season at Syracuse University, a fan held up a sign that read "Poetry in Moten." The clever phrase proved prophetic. The nickname "Poetry" stuck as Lawrence went on to become the leading scorer in Orangeman history. The sharpshooting rookie guard has written only the first line of his NBA verse, but the expansion Grizzlies consider him a vital part of their future.

Bob made All-Association first team two successive seasons. He's called "Mister Perfection himself." A great shot, averaging over 16 points per game for the two years he was on a dream team. An "iron man" who can play the 48 minutes non-stop. An All-Star basketball player as a schoolboy, collegian, amateur, service man and pro... at his best when the chips are down. Is expected to be even better this year, since he has taken off 25 pounds.
