Captained City College team in 1942 and named to All-Madison Square and All-Metropolitan teams in 1942-43. Starred for Norfolk Naval Training Station five which was voted the outstanding service team in country in 1944. Member of Royals' National League championship teams of 1945-46 and 1946-47. Selected to League's All-Star teams in 1946-47 and 1947-48. Is one of key figures of Royals' powerhouse attack to be unveiled in BAA for first time this season.
In his first season with Knicks, Bud scored 401 points, in spite of fact that he didn't join team until December. He's rated as best basketball player ever developed at Princeton. In 1943 he led Eastern Intercollegiate League in scoring with 170 points in 12 games and was named to All-League first five. His 73 field goals that season were most ever made in that old circuit. While he was in training he played with the Chapel Hill, N. C. Cloudbusters and led team in scoring.
Finished season third on team in rebounds (392) and blocked shots (43)... Played in all 82 games during second season... Signed as a free agent 8/17/91 after playing in Spain... Played on the Lakers 1990 Summer League team.
