Formerly an under-utilized NBA curiosity, Bol has assumed the role of defensive stopper for the 76ers, a part perfectly attuned to his specialized talents. The Sudanese native shattered the old Sixer mark by rejecting 247 shots last year.

Playing on a team with high-volume shooters, Williams has to carve out his own opportunities. Using his quickness and hops, he is outstanding at A) cutting to the hoop and B) putting back offensive boards. The C's are eager to increase his scoring options, and that combined with his D should make him an essential piece in 2023-24.

Brown, a productive scorer off the bench, averaged 19 minutes per game his first two pro years, but was slowed by ankle problems last season. He started 51 games for the Cavaliers during the 1990-91 campaign.
