Ron Harper is a survivor. In 1991-92, he led the resurgence of the Clippers, taking the team to the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 1976. Harper has experienced a similar comeback He scored 1,874 points, the second highest in Cavaliers history, in his rookie season but suffered a career-threatening knee injury in 1990. He has battled back and served notice of his recovery with 1,495 points in 1991-92.



Acquired along with David Wingate and Maurice Cheeks from Philadelphia in exchange for Johnny Dawkins and Jay Vincent 8/28/89... Sidelined early in his rookie year with a knee injury... A strong inside player... Among Sixers' leaders in blocked shots and rebounds last season... Left Washinton as it's all-time leading scorer... Three-time all-PAC 10 pick... Teamed with Golden State's Uwe Blab and Indiana's Detlef Schrempf on 1984 West German Olympic Team.



A first-round selection of the Warriors in 1990, Hill assumed a starting role for Golden State in 1991-92. He finished second on the team with an average of 7.2 rebounds per game. Hill finished his collegiate career at Xavier University as the sixth-leading rebounder in NCAA Division history with 1,380 boards.
