Selected by the Colonels in the first ABA draft in 1967, Louie leads the league in career assists, career 3-point field goals and in minutes played. He's missed only 6 games in his 7-year career and has played in 6 mid-season ABA All-Star Games.



Dan enjoyed one of the most fantastic rookie seasons in pro basketball history. Led ABA with scoring average of 29.9 per game, was selected as loop's Rookie of Year along with Charlie Scott and broke 27 Kentucky & 10 league marks in his first season.



The Pistons came into being as an NBA franchise in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1949. In 1957, the team relocated to its present home, Detroit. The highlights of the organization came in 1989 and 1990, when the Pistons won back-to-back NBA Championships to become the third franchise in NBA history to accomplish the feat. DID YOU KNOW? The winner of the highest-scoring NBA game, the Pistons also won the lowest-scoring game, a 19-18 Fort Wayne win over Minneapolis on November 22, 1950. SCORECARD. In three overtimes on December 13, 1983, the Pistons bested the Denver Nuggets 186-184 in the highest-scoring game in NBA history.
