Nate starred three years on Texas teams which ran and shot their way to national prominence. He averaged 19.9 points over three years and his 1459 point total topped Jim "Bad News" Barnes' old school record mark. Nate was a Royals' regular through the 1970-71 pre-season games, averaging 13.7 points in 9 games and was a leader in assists. He was awarded the Royals' Outstanding Rookie trophy.
Scottie grew up in Hamburg, Arkansas, a town so small it had only one public basketball court. The local kid made good, however. He now ranks among the top three Chicago Bulls of all time in points, assists, steals and field goals.
After a brilliant college, career, Win was the first draft choice of the Hawks last year. Although not a giant, he consist ently outplayed much taller opponents and what's more amazing, lead the nation last year in rebounds! In two years at Memphis State, he rolled up 1114 points for an overall average of 21 points per contest. Leading his team to the N.I.T. Finals, Win was voted the Most Valuable Player in the Tourney. - In '54, he starred on the Armed Forces' Pan American team.
