John was signed by Nets Coach Carnesecca for his running and shooting ability. He's also a good enough rebounder to hold the Temple U. career record of 1,042. John's 1,544 career points at Temple are 2nd only to Guy Rodgers on the all-time list.
Wilt is pro basketball's greatest all-time scorer with 27,098 pts. His numerous records include 100 pts, and 55 rebounds, both for a single game. In the last playoffs, he also set a mark of 444 rebounds.
Nate starred three years on Texas teams which ran and shot their way to national prominence. Nate was a Royals' regular through the 1970-71 pre-season games, averaging 13.7 points in 9 games and was a leader in assists. He was awarded the Royals' Outstanding Rookie trophy.
