Since Luis came to the White Sox in 1950 he has lost only 3 games for them over the span of his mound work. He has won a total of 18. Last season he appeared in 24 games, winning 2 and losing 0. He was used exclusively in relief. In 1952 Luis had a 3-1 record, in 1951 it was 6-0 and in 1950 he won 7 and lost 2. Began in organized baseball, 1944, with Chattanooga of Southern Association. Also pitched for Kingsport, Charlotte, Havana and Buffalo.
"Red" is playing his second season with the White Sox in '54. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he started pro ball with Waterloo in '50 and hit .319 in 67 games. In '51 at Memphis, Bob batted .327 in 82 games and went to Seattle in '52, where he hit .297 and drove in 75 Runs with 32 Doubles, 9 Triples and 7 Homers in 155 games.

He was traded to the Giants for 1942 season, and except for three years in service, remained until the deal which brought him to the Yanks in August 1949 for $40,000.
