Chuck was brought up to the Houston Club for the last month of the 1965 season. On Sept. 26, he cracked a three-run homer against the Cincinnati Reds and virtually knocked them out of the pennant race. The powerfully built ex-football star from Texas Tech started the 1966 campaign in the minors but was quickly recalled after a fine showing. Although only with the Houston Club part of the season, Chuck was among the club leaders in doubles, home runs and runs batted in. Watch for him in '67.

Hank started in baseball in 1941 as a pitcher but soon switched to outfielding. He's been a Yank since 1948 and in 1950 belted .320. In 1953, Hank posted a .304 mark and in the 1955 World Series hit .429.
