"Ray Benge in 1933 was the best fielding pitcher for the most games played in the National League with an average of 1.000 in 37 games. He pitches an overhand curved ball. Cleveland had him for two years (1925-26) but let him go to the Three-I League. The Phillies got him in Waco, Texas, in 1928 and kept him for six seasons before letting him go to the Dodgers.
