Harry came in to his own with the Reds last year. He began in organized baseball in 1942. In 1946 with Ogden of the Pioneer League he won 23 games and lost only 6 for a percentage of .793. He joined the Reds at the end of the 1947 season. He won 22 with Tulsa in 1948. Rejoined the Reds at the end of the 1949 season and has been with them ever since.



After playing 20 games for the White Sox, the fleet-footed outfielder came to the A's early last season, in a trade. Bill gained the reputation as a long ball hitter with his solid batting in the Minors. At Memphis in '50 he poled 36 homers, drove in 125 runs and hit .311. After 2 years in Service, Bill returned to belt 34 homers and was brought up to the Majors.



Drafted from Chicago! A top-flight defensive receiver, he led the Int. League with a .994 fielding average in 1963.
