Harry B. Hooper, outfielder of the Boston American League team, was born in Santa Clara, Cal., August 24, 1887. He made his debut in baseball as a pitcher for St. Mary's College team. At the close of the season of 1907 he became a professional and joined the Oakland Club. In 1908 he played with Sacramento, and was secured by the Red Sox in 1909.
