Batted .239 in 155 games for the 1950 Washington Senators. Drove in 59 runs with 144 hits. Batted .273 in 153 games in the 1949 campaign. Drove in 53 runs with 161 hits. Hung up a fielding average of .957. The Senators acquired Sam from the St. Louis Browns, for whom he batted .270 in 98 games in 1948. His 72 hits made for a total of 87 bases. Sam is a good man in the field.



Nick went 2-for-3 with a walk in his Royals debut on September 1, 2023, and kept swinging from there. He collected multiple hits in seven of his 19 games, with his average never ducking below .296.



Dick is the top righthander on the White Sox staff. In 1957 he tied for the best A.L. Won-Lost Percentage and for most Complete Games pitched. Dick started in baseball in '47, but it wasn't until 1954 that he found himself at Atlanta where he won 18 games.
