Putting on an unprecedented offensive display is one way to endear yourself to new fans, and that's how Tejada introduced himself to Baltimore locals in 2004. The prized free-agent acquisition became the first shortstop to tally 200 hits and 150 RBI, benchmarks previously reached by the likes of Lou Gehrig, Rogers Hornsby and Babe Ruth.



Joe rejoins the A's after spending the '68 campaign at Vancouver. The tall outfielder was acquired on waivers from the Twins in May of 1966. With Minnesota, Joe appeared in 6 World Series games in 1965.



Nick set Central Missouri State season and career records for saves and posted a 1.06 ERA in 2005. The Cardinals made him the highest-drafted player in school history (2nd round). A move to the rotation proved to be little trouble. Webber's New Jersey (A) success earned a promotion to Quad Cities (A), where he threw his 1st complete game.
