Up for another fling in the majors after being named the most valuable player in the Pacific Coast League for the 1950 season. Hit .315 in 184 games. Had 355 total bases. Slammed 24 homers and 34 doubles. Drove in 141 runs, scored 152. First came to the majors with the Braves. Acquired by the Red Sox after the 1943 season. Sent to Cleveland, 1947. Also was with Browns and White Sox.



Ed was the Dodgers' best relief pitcher last year. He appeared in more games than anyone else on the pitching staff. Ed proved that he was a great competitor with his fine comeback showing of 1960.



Goslin was one of the finest outfielders and hitters in the American League for many years. Breaking in with Columbia of the Sally League in 1920, he hit .316 that year and .390 the next before going to Washington where he starred for ten years. He went to the Browns, back to Washington, Detroit and again a year with Washington. Three times he hit three home runs in a game and in 32 World Series games, hit .287.
