If the signs are right, "Pee Wee" Reese, a young inan who cost the Brooklyn Dodgers a reported price of $75,000 in cash and players. is destined to become one of the leading shortstops in the National League. Reese came up to the Dodgers from Louisville last year and proved that he was as brilliant a fielder. as they said he was, and that he could hit on occasion. The real test, however, was halted when he fractured his heel sliding into second base on August 15th, and was out for the rest of the season. There's no doubt any longer about Reese being major league calibre, but how good he really is, remains to be told this year.
