This is the second time up for Bill Trotter, first coming up to the Browns in 1937 when he won 2 games losing 9. Last year he pitched for the San Antonio Club of the Texas League with whom he won 22 games, losing only 9. He struck out 118 batters in 249 innings allowing only 62 walks for an earned run average of 2.25. The Browns are using Bill Trotter chiefly in relief roles this year.
