Ray Fosse: Last year Ray hit .301 for Portland in the Pacific Coast League. The backstop, just 21 years old, figures heavily in the Indians' future plans. Ray has been in pro ball since 1965. George Woodson: George had a big year with Portland in 1968, winning 13 games while compiling a 3.04 earned run average. The righthander from Arkansas weighs 170 pounds and stands 5'10" tall.
The veteran slugging star was the first Phillies player ever to slug three homers in one game, September 27, 1964.

Second player since 1900 to do this as a rookie. He joined the Pirates in 1943 but, due to Uncle Sam's prior claim on his time, it was not until 1946 that he appeared in a game for the Pirates.
