Developed knuckle ball with Hollywood in 1952 and posted a brilliant 1.29 earned run average while winning 6 and losing 1. Has played for nine different clubs but 1953 marked his first full year in majors.



On April 10, 2022, Bobby bashed the 34th home run of his career, tying Ted Williams for third- most by a Red Sox player in his first 162 MLB games. Only Tony Conigliaro (36) and Walt Dropo (35) had more.



The Pilots grabbed one of the A.L.'s top long-ball hitters when they snared Don in the expansion draft. The lefty hitting first sacker began his career in 1956. He batted .330 at Davenport in '58 while driving in 97 runs.
