Dick had a fine rookie campaign last year. Had 17 shutouts in minors, plus a no-hitter vs. Greensboro on 5-15-66. That year he was league's 2nd best in ERA and in 1968 he pitched Toledo to the league title. Tied for Royals lead with 10 complete games in 1969. Drafted from Tigers.

Mickey again proved his ability in 1952 when, for the third straight year, he either tied or led American League first basemen in fielding. His percentage, best in the league, was .993 for 153 games. He began in organized baseball in 1937. Appeared in 76 games for Washington in 1939. He was traded to Cleveland in December 1948, and was traded back to the Senators in June 1950.
