In his ninth and finest NHL season yet (1989-90), he tallied five power-play goals, three game winners, and one game-tying goal, plus a 10=game scoring streak. Thomas was selected to play in the 1990 NHL All-Star Game, but injuries prevented him from playing. He has 64 points in 64 games vs. the L.A. Kings.
