The elder of Gordie Howe's sons, Mark collected 7 power play goals, 2 shorthanded goals and 3 game winning goals in 1980-81.



Ron is a bachelor. His last amateur club was the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League. He scored 57 Goals and 92 Assists for 149 Points at Sault Ste. Marie in 1979-80.



A second-round draft pick of the Whalers in 1990, Geoff Sanderson joined Hartford for the end of the 1990-91 season and the Stanley Cup playoffs after completing his junior career with Swift Current (WHL). He led the Broncos in goals and was second on his team in points last season. Sanderson, who averaged better than a point per game in his WHL career, scored his first NHL goal in his first game with the Whalers last season.
