The Edmonton netminder notched the highest win total of his NHL tenure in 2005-06. Markkanen's best stretch of the season came between late October and early November, when he registered victories in five consecutive starts while posting a .931 save percentage and a 2.01 goals-against average. The first victory of his NHL career was a 2-0 shutout against Anaheim on 11/28/01.



McDavid hit the 100-point mark for the fifth time in seven seasons, notching his 37th tally of the 2021-22 campaign on March 30. He netted the milestone marker 5:07 into the middle stanza to give Edmonton a 3-1 lead. The elite center wasn't finished scoring just yet, as he launched the puck past Jonathan Quick in the shootout to seal the Oilers' 4-3 home win against the Kings.
